This is an interesting post by Shannon Hale. I never noticed how underrepresented girls were in animated movies in the US. I was planning on seeing Tintin, but now that I know there’s one female in the entire movie, I’ll watch Rio and Arthur Christmas instead, which have better ratios. What else can we do to change this?
