There is a Nerdfighters for Huntsman Facebook group. There has been for a while, but I never got around to posting it until now. The facebook group allows more nerdfighter to nerdfighter interaction. It has fun polls, and has some extra content that is not featured on this tumblr. Have I sold you on it yet? Join our group!
OK, seriously….WHY is the GOP NOT taking this man into consideration as a truly viable candidate for the Republican nomination?!? I mean, come ON! In a sea of wild antics and embarassing pomp and circumstance, Jon Huntsman is probably the ONLY candidate all campaign season who has made ANY SENSE whatsoever on the trail. Yet while I believe that Independent and other voters would vote for him in droves to almost rival that of President Obama come November 2012, the Republicans just feel the need to brush him off without even giving him an afterthought.
You wanna know something really strange…..I’m not a Republican, but if I were voting in the GOP primary elections, I would actually VOTE for Huntsman!
He’s the ONLY ONE…..maybe besides Mitt (and that’s a BIIIIIIIIIIG “maybe”) that exudes “Presidentiality”.
I realized it after I posted the response. I’m one of those people who cannot process sarcasm/parodies. On the internet it’s especially difficult to see if people are kidding or just have bad grammar.
It seems odd that every candidate but Huntsman has had a surge in support at some point in the race. I think, this quote sums up his struggle pretty well: “A pro-life, pro-second-amendment fiscal conservative with a strong record in foreign policy and in the private sector, Huntsman is surely the candidate that Republicans have been looking for yet don’t seem to want to find.”
Jon Huntsman has 72 hours to prevent a devastating loss in New Hampshire. In my view, he has three problems:
He is perceived as Romney’s stunt double. People don’t really know the difference between them.
His name recognition isn’t high enough. A significant number of people in New Hampshire…
“Stranger things have already happened” in this primary than Jon Huntsman winning the nomination. Read more about the most consistently conservative candidate and re-consider Jon Huntsman.
